Garden Ginseng, Wild Ginseng, Ganoderma, Eucommia Bark, Cordyceps
Crude drugs used in the Traditional Chinese Medicine are called Chinese crude drugs i.e.,Kan-Yaku in Japanese.
Some crude drugs are developed in Japan called as Wa-Yaku.
In Japanese Kampo Medicine, Wa-Yaku is also used besides Chinese crude drugs.

Ginseng Radix(Ginseng) : From ancient times, Ginseng Radix has been highly prized.
It is appetizing and enhances vitality, and is categorized in the drug replenishing the Qi (vital energy).
Ginseng Radix is a dried root of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer of the family Araliaceae.
Wild Ginseng Radix is very important drug, but it can not satisfy the market-demand.
Therefore, cultivated one is in current use. Although Ginseng Radix in Korea is very famous, cultivation of that was also succeeded on the 18th century (the Edo period) in Japan.
At present, it is successfully cultivated in Nagano, Fukushima and Shimane prefectures.
