Remarks

Figs. 2 and 3 show effect of chromatographic conditions on separation of bacopasides. When CH3COONH4 was used as solvent A (Fig. 2), the order of elution was: Bacopaside I → Bacoside A3 → Bacoside A2 → Bacopaside N1 → Bacopaside N2. In contrast, when HCOOH was used as solvent A (Fig. 3), the order of elution was: Bacoside A3 → Bacoside A2 → Bacopaside N1 → Bacopaside N2 → Bacopaside I. Figs. 4 and 5 show Quantitation of bacopasides. Fig. 4: Standard compounds. Fig. 5: Extract (10 mg/ml solution, 1 μl injection).
