Profile
Ms. Ximeng Yang was born in Dalian, China and grown up in Toyama, Japan. She graduated from Toyama University (Pharmaceutical Science) in 2017. In Dec. 2017, she was appointed as a Specially Appointed Assistant Professor in Division of Neuromedical Science, Institute of Natural Medicine, University of Toyama. Assistant Professor in Section of Neuromedical Science, in April 2020.

Research
Her research is to establish a novel therapeutic strategy for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and Frailty by reconstructing neural networks. She aims to clarify molecular mechanisms for restoring the degenerated neural circuits by investigating downstream signaling of the effective natural medicines.
